When will the price of 197's plummet?

  200 Gordini
Cant everyone on the forum selling a Clio raise their asking price by £1000?

People will follow thus making RS Clios more valuable?

i had mine up for 8k not so long ago and recieved little to no interest at all. i wouldn't say 8k was unreasonable for a fully specced 197, 43k, everything apart from xenons and recaros on it, fsh, new tyres and a yozza exhaust. best offer i got was a 1.8 sri corsa lol.

The lack of interest is probably down to the economy rather than your car. As there are so few 197s on the road compared to say 182s, I reckon the price will stay firmer for longer. Try finding a better hot hatch for £8k.

Its probably the lack of Xenons and Recaros why you got little interest. I wouldn't buy one without them tbh

  Titanium 182
If you keep your eyes open you can do well. I made nearly £400 on my 182.

I will make on my 172 too but I've spent a lot on it so it's not really "making" me anything, maybe just breaking even.

  LY 200
who cares there poo!

:clown:

They havnt dropped that much at all tbh!

When i bought my LY 182 at 2 years old i paid 10k for it (from a dealership) but the same 2 year old well spec'd/top conditioned 197 (mainly the R27's admitedly) with more milage than i bought the 182 on are priced at between 11 and 12.5k! They will drop but they seem to be holding prices better than the 182's did!

You only have to look at 4 year old 2006 bare spe'd ones and what they are going for (8-10k) to realise that.

Prices wont plummet. The pound is about to tank, so anything imported is going to double in price. Add in the inflation because of quantitative easing and low interest rates and things are going to rocket in price. Of course a loaf of bread will also cost £345.
