hi folks.
removed the stabiliser bar/rear gearbox mounting from my 2001 1.2 16v.
ordered replacement from dingbro but it was much smaller and had a horizontal fitting to engine. £8.95+vat
next stop was gsf and although the size was almost the same the thickness of the engine mounting side was thinner it was also twisted in the middle.£11.50+vat
phoned stealers and the have described the same part as gsf but its £31+vat.!!
does anyone know if this part is still available or have renault replaced it with the twisted one same as gsf.?

the part on left of the picture is thicker than the one gsf showed me.

Renault make both parts. the twisted is for the later cars the straight the ealier ones from memory so both are still needed.

its difficult to swop from one type to the other without other bits.

but the guy at renault only mentioned the twisted one. he said the part number was not coming up.
which sounds like the one at gsf, but 3 times the price.!
