its at the back of the engine low down...sits to the left of where the gearbox joins the engine and is covered by a heat proof guard.

Yeah it bump starts, I bump stared it the other day - ran it for about 30-40mins turned it off came to start it again and nothing!

I have just changed the battery which I thought might have been the problem, but still won't start.......It doesn't even try to turn over, turn the key to make it fire up and it does nothing!

I have been noticing aswell that the buzzing noise which comes from the throttle body stays buzzing longer when you turn the ignition off.

Where will I find the TDC sensor?

its on top of the gear box held on buy 2 10mm bolts u need to remove the airbox to get at it

with the symtoms you have described my money would not be on the tdc. What happens when you try and engage the starter?

Nothing happens, you turn the key for all the ignition lights to come on turn it again to make it start but it does nothing, all the lights go out as if it wants to start but it doesn't?!

So basically the starter isnt turning at all - so it would either be down to perhaps corroded connecter the starter solinoid or the started itself. You would need to confirm with some more experiencied members though as its difficult to tell without having a look

yeah its not turning at all, The cars off the road at the mo - few weeks ago when I came to start it it had the same problem, turn the key, nothing happened, turned the ignition off, came to do it again and it fired up?!

but now it won't fire up at all, only bump start. I will have a look at the starter motor and see. Which is the easyest way to get to it?

had dis same thing happening to me 2 weeks ago after washing the car, especially washing under the wheel arches. on both occasions i washed under the wheel arch, the car began misbehaving. Had to bump start, and run the car until it dried out any moisture in the engine.

whats the best way of 'tapping' it? can you get it from the top or do you have to get under the car?

Anyone point me in the right direction, pics of where it is

You can fix that yourself assuming you can get to the motor to take it off, it just needs taking apart, servicing and putting back together.
