Where does the 182 gain the 10PS over the 172?

182 is worse and dosnt even have a Renaultsport melty steering wheel or sill plates. Major poverty.........

You get poverty spec seats in a 182 Cup too. To my mind, they're actually a much better shape than the full fat seats (172 or 182). As I say though, that's just me. I really don't get on with the full fat seats.

That's odd as they're the same seats. One in cloth, one in leather.
They may be the same frame but the bolsters (and hence overall seat shape) certainly seem to be different. All I can say is that I've never managed to get properly comfy in a Full Fat (172 or 182) but the Cups I've tried (both 172 and 182) struck me as much more comfortable places to be. I'm always more comfortable in a cloth seat, though this may be some kind of bad subliminal memory based upon a chilhood spent with the joys of Alfatex though...
