Where have these come from?

Ive just removed the front bumper from my 182 and these two clips pinged off from somewhere. They came from somewhere near the ends of the bumper.
Anyone got any idea where they go?

MMM somewhere near the end of the bumper! only kidding..I remember seeing them but I think they were just left off.

Are they for the lip spoiler .

^^^ they didnt come from splitter area. Cheers for your help guys. I will go and have another look to see if i can suss it out.

they are the little metal clips that the screws from the arch liner or mud guard underneath screw into

they go on the bumper, the plastic of the bumper goes inside them and they are threaded to allow the bolt that holds the bumper to the wing to tighten and hold the two parts together.

that doesnt sound clear

there will be a recess in the end of the bumper near where it joins the wings, they fit in these (one on either side of the bumper)

They arent threaded.
I will have a good look tomorrow to see if i can see any marks as to where they were.

there not the clips holding the plastic housing onto your headlights are they?

Dont think so. Anyway im off to renault soon to get all my new bits, so mite ask them if it shows them on their parts screen.

In the very corner of the bumper. They clip the bumper to the wing so that it holds the two tightly together and doesnt leave a gap where they meet.

On the inside of where i have marked the pic with the red square.
