where to get copper washer

Hi im wanting to do engine oil and gearbox oil on my 182 where can I buy the copper washers they say you must replace?

Renault, its not a copper washer though.

Its a steel washer with a rubber seal built into it.

About £1.70 or something.

Went to Renault the other week for a gearbox one and cost me 31p.. the reciept probably cost more than that

Gearbox one is copper the engine sump one is metal and rubber type washer

You can also use a copper crush washer on the gearbox, its what i used last time due to renault not having stock at the time so i had the nearest to it.

One with the rubber on is called a dowty washer.

Never had any issues reusing the washers. Any time i get a filter from Renault they lob one in the box for free

Just go an extra 1/4 turn if you haven't got one to hand,

I normally pick them up in 10's and have them knocking about.

if it is just a dowty washer any hydraulic suppliers will have them if you know the size
