Where to mount go pro on a trackday?

Sunvisor definately isnt the best place for a camera mount!

Not convinced anything other than solid metal/plastic one will do a decent job, especially on a TD.

Looking at it driving home I did wonder if I'd mounted it too far back, so have repositioned it closer to the hinge end for another run in the morning.

I did also talk to Mendizmo earlier about strapping it to his Trendline one evening, and he's up for that, possibly Friday.

I tried moving the mount further forward on the sunvisor and it was a little better.

Happy to provide footage mate, but the Cup is off the road at the moment 😧 Also until I get it sorted I can't MOT it 😧

Haha, ok, well shout when it's working.
In the meantime i'm keeping a mount in the car incase i run him over or something!

Just to update this, I extended mine a few months back to triangulate forwards from the 2 headrest bars, so I could replicate a passengers eye view with the 360 camera.
Heres the result and you can pan round to see the mount.
