Where to thread RED wire from battery??

Car  Renault ClioSport 172
Hi, i have a Clio sport 172 and want to connect a sub and amp up only when looking under the bonnet for a place to run the wire from the battery to the back of the car, it seems there isnt any spaces or gaps i can thread the wire.

Does anybody own a similar clio that can help??

i dont own a 172/182 but im sure the dynamiques are all much the same as regards to the bulkhead!

i used the bonnet release gromit for mine!

i can only imagine it will be alot tighter round the back of the engine then with a 1.2 :D

yeah not as much space on a 1*2 but still possible, threaded 4 gauge through on my no bother

try poking screwdriver through from the passenger footwell then look for that in the engine bay!

i'll have a look in the morning, but looking under the hood i couldnt see where it would come out.

i take it its just a little rubber thing? is there anything coming out of it?

Will have your bonnet release cable going through it.

Just tape your cable to a screw driver and poke it through, you should then be able to see from the engine bay so just pull it through. Job done :approve:

dont mean to be rude but there is a search button for a reason it has been posted a lot of times and there is pics showing you how to do it.

ok now i know about the gromit but if you look in the engine bay whereabouts will it be located...ive found it on the inside of the car but cant seem to see it from looking over the engine bay
