Which ALARM

  "Navy" N17 TWO

Toad Ai606 or a Cliiford alarm???

Ive decided to get a sub/amp and alarm instead of a bodykit :devilish: Already picked my sound set-up. Which alarm is best suited to the features Im after?

I want the arm/disarm beeps

Break-glass sensor

Proximity sensor

Tilt sensor

Electric window roll-ups

Flash headlights on alarm

Maybe choice of alarm tones, not as important as above

Any advice/opinions would be great! cheers

I would go for the Toad - I have the AI606 and havent had any problems with it, not even a single false alarm. My brother used to have a top of the range Clifford and it was constantly going faulty or setting itself off.

i would say clifford but get it fitted properly, dont use gap security (they fitted one to my old car and f**ked it up), use specialist security

id stay clear of clifford... theyre basically a name, and not as reliable as toad alarms - ive heard more than 1 clifford/toad installers say that, and a few clifford owners agree after they get over the amazingness of having a clifford alarm...

I had heard that toad beats clifford for reliability... still seems to be true

The Ai606 have all the features listed above? or available as ad-ons?

Ive got a toad on mine had it for 8 months now and not 1 problem as yet they get my vote.

Dont know where your getting it from but try these people

I fully reccomend them the installer is a great down to earth guy

from the above company I payed 360 notes which included the 2 stage impact protection/wheel protector and the Volumentric Glass Break Sensor.

All included nationwide fitting and i aslo got the free carbon keyfob covers

Everything that my Clifford concept 650 has on it, not sure on the Proximity sensors though, although I think I have. Great alarm, gives piece of mind.

The remote headlight activation is extremely cool, and very funny when you get people walking past, they look in and cant see whos turned the lights on. The only downer with the lights is that they dont timeout so if you accidently push the button it stays on until you turn it off, so it could drain your battery.

Toad AI606, had mine fitted in october last year, not one false alarm or any problems with it at all, but an alarm is only as good as the guy who fitted it to be fair!

ive fitted the ai606 to a few cars of my own... very easy to wire up, very good alarm. but if u go with clifford get it fitted professionally incase u need the warrenty. also conseder the cheepy pagers on ebay... may be cheep n tacky but as an addition to ur alarm /immobiliser ull catch thieves in the act. they r really good bits of kit to have
