Alright guys, having a bit of a debate in my head atm, I've currently got a recessed AAS system on the 172 but I've agreed the gf can have it on her 172 as she nagged me all the way back from FCS

I'm thinking forward on this and wondering what's the best system for performance for a 172? I do plan on running a de-cat or 182 manifold conversion with link pipe so what's going to work best?

I've had a BTB in the past and loved it, but wouldnt mind showing off my purchase instead of hiding it, I saw a good improvement when fitting the BTB to my already de-catted standard system.

I hear good things constantly about the Yozza Race? Has anyone noticed a performance increase? Also what are these ORECA things all about, apart from looking like the supersprint race system I had on a 106 many moons ago, do they give any performance increase?

Are you running the cat mate? I want to have the system running a little less restricted and don't want it to sound like a wet fart.

I did watch the video when the duck posted it and was impressed with the result, the thing is the only way to tell if its down to the exhaust is to put a different one on and run it again

I had it dyno'd as standard at 159bhp atf and with those mods made 180bhp. So the exhaust is sure to play it's part there, yes it's de cat and no yozza sounds like a wet fart, de cat or cat they sound awesome.

You could also go for a Supersprint, there's both the race version (70mm exit under the bumper) and the stealth road versione, 63 mm bore.
