Which XENON kit do i need for my 200 RS? Please help...

  CLIO 200 RS 2010 FF
Hi All,

quite new to this forum so bare with me.

Iv got projectors on my clio200rs which i fitted myself due to wanting a HID xenon kit. (hence the carpet on floor for fitting in pic haha)

In my mind i am after a xenon dipped beam and a xenon full beam but when you flash someone with full beam I dont want it to have to warm up (like it did on my old car) because most of the time the other driver didnt even see it in time lol. I want it to be fully powered as soon as i turn the fulls on.

So does this mean I need two kits? one for dipped and full? If so anyone know any good kits I can buy? maybe Hids4u an option??

And which size do i need? would i be right in thinking it is H1??

I have added some pics of the bulb and some pics of the car. Hope you like

The full beam idea won't work, even if you have two kits (which you'd need as it's 2 seperate bulbs) the full beam bulb will still need to heat up, so you have the same problem as before.

yeah ditch the idea of a xenon kit for the main beam and stick some osram nightbreakers plus in

On the back of the head light unit it says what bulbs you need. My main beam kit I used in my projectors was H1 6k 55w I think. Not too over the top and I have had no issues with the police yet. Wish I had gone for the slim ballasts the quality of the big ones is pretty poor and I have already had to replace one.

Scrap the full beam idea.

You need a single kit for your car, which means, echoing what others have already said, you wont beable to have xenons that don't warm up first, as it's not a high/low kit - your dipped & main beams are on seperate bulbs.

We have many people ask us what's best and our opinion is just simple a Xenon HID kit for your dipped beam and leave the main beams as they are. You probably wont use high beam as much as you think, even just to flash other road users, so it wont warrant the cost of another xenon kit just for that purpose.
