Replaced the rear disc, bearings and pads last week as the bearing had gone on the rear drivers side, and had the awful droning whine, the problem cleared until this weekend.
Took the front wheels off to change the front discs and pads and noticed my drivers side CV joint has put a lot of CV grease around the back of the turini and around the hub (it looks like duck sh*t!), we thought maybe this was an after-effect of fitting my H&R's last weekend without camber-correction bolts and because they were quite low having a fairly aggressive camber thats put strain on the front CV joint. Checked the passenger side to see if this was the same, but that was clean as a whistle.
Which points toward there being possibly an issue on the drivers side, would a knackered CV joint give the same sort of droney noise like a bust bearing? How much is a replacement one going to cost including labour rough? Anything else that this could be? Anything else the noise could be?
Sorry for all the questions but I really wanted this sorted asap as the cars being set up at Mark Fish's in a couple of weeks.
Cheers in advance
