whirring noise - wheel bearing?

right i have noticed a very faint 'whirring' noise, sort of like the sound of a spin dryer or somethin coming from the rear passenger wheel when im driving.
is especially loud on smooth roads but thats just probs cos theres less road noise to drown it out.
sound like a wheel bearing? i know its almost impossible to tell on here but i thought it worth a try. i know my brakes could do with a look with pads goin thin but that cant have anythin to do with it or can it?
tyre looks fine, no unusual wear on it.
could it be also things to do with suspension bushes, etc? or is it maybe something with the blueflame exhaust doin somethin cos its on that side and does resonate quite a bit.

sounds like its definately a wheel bearing mate. Jack your car up or get it on some ramps and spin your back wheel see if it makes the noise

more to the point. anyone up northwest that knows how to do it and cant wait to do it for me?! how long does it take?
its a rear wheel.

Rear wheel bearings do fail a fair bit there push fitted into the brake disk. New ones are £150 or so from Yozzasport with new pads there aboput the cheapest the bearing will come push fitted at that price as well. often they don't.

Garage would spot it right away.

Fitments easy I've got a guide here showing ho its put together if you want a copy PM me your email address.

I'm about 10 miles south of Chester if you need.

I'm getting this from the same wheel on my 172.

I've only just got the car a few weeks from a dealers and have a warranty on it.
Will this be covered by the warranty?
