Whistling Noise

Been getting a wierd whistling noise coming from the direction of the front left wheel. Its like an on/off whistle like there is something catching when each time the wheel turns. Brakes seem ok. Could it be anything else?

If memory serves me correctly, the 1*2s are prone to whistling now and again. I seem to remember coming across a thread some time ago with discussion on this.

Have a search and see what you can find but I shouldn't be too worried.

mine whistles at 90 -100 intermitently, more when cross or strog wind is present

i have a feeling its rushing through the engine bay, into the glove box etc.

think its the downfall of a french motor, cheaper so not as sound proof etc, just take it as a characteristic of the car lol

My bosch aero wipers whistle sometimes, and my drivers side wing mirror whistles

lol I wish. Just noticed a few things recently. Think it might be something to do with the brakes which are decidingly poor atm.

Its happens at crawling speed too. more noticeable when turning .
