Whiter (non-HID/xenon) bulbs for MK3?

I've been looking around for some whiter bulbs for my mk3 dipped beam projector style headlamps but I'd rather not buy a HID kit, just bulbs.

I've found these but I'm not sure if they're either the right kind/what I'm actually looking for.

Any help is appreciated!

Osram Nightbreakers seem to be well recommended.
Slightly whiter, not HID white though.

I've seen them mentioned a lot about this topic.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any bulbs whiter at all.
If not, they seem like the way to go!

I find eBay Super white very good colour (not as good projection though - but they are quarter price possibly worth risk

Most of the 55W say they're xenon - "They are Xenon gas filled halogen headlight bulbs" So are they just a straight swap for halogens or do they need the xenon kit etc?
