On the mk1s how about measuring between the sill jacking pints to the floor, i cant fit my 130mm high jack under mine at the front, so im guessing about 120mm at teh front, and about 140mmish at the rear.

I cant get over speedhumps wihtout grounding that fred can get voer wihtout touching.

Also what size wheels you are running makes a difference, im on 15s

I recon from top of tyre to top of the inside arch. If its low enough to compete you wont have any arch liners so should be fair for everyone no matter what size wheel?

Well on the back of mine its in minus figures, and wiht my RT arches on i guess about level wiht bottem of arch straight on, on full lock about 5-10mm

my front (MAY) be slightly lower then freds we worked out... but his rear is deffo lower.

Dean without a doubt had teh lowest mk 1.

I mean in the arch to the top not the bit that shows other wise both the front and rear of mine would be minus figures.

So middle of the top of the tyre then measure straight up?

Thats pretty low Win....

Eskis, that kinda confused me lol. we just measure (on mk2 172s) from the gap where the front bumper meets the wing to the ground.

Does that give a fair reading for different size wheels though?

Mine is on 16s and the same coilovers as dansta turned most of the way down at the front and all the way down at the rear
