Who here works for Renault, need to check service history for a car

Went to see a car yesterday, but the garage has misplaced the service book, so i was wondering if anybody who works for Renault could check their systems to see if this car has any service history through a main dealer.

car reg is EJ53 GYY

Renault wont hold the S/H for the vehicle, it will only be held at the Servicing Dealership, so unless you know where it was serviced you will be stuck!

Renault hold the database of servicing-

you should be able to walk into a dealership & check- although they dont always give you specifics

I messaged a 'friend' today who came back with service hist on a PH 1 that was missing history prior to 30k-
turns out that at 22k it needed new subframes-... so Accident damaged then...

Really? Thats changed since I was working at Head Office a few years ago, I know the Servicing Dealerships hold the info if they did the service, but Head Office never used to when i was there.

Working for Nissan Now (So the Renault Sister Company) and we still dont hold any servicing information.

I tried this and got fobbed off completely, I may try again though if your saying they can do it

Would I be able to get a copy of the service book and they backdate any history of stamps they have on record??

No history ? I'd walk away...

There's dozens for sale on here and on PH/AT/etc...

I dont need this type of info often but find it quite accessable most of the time-

I guess persistence is the word-sometimes its different across franchises- say harratts to SMC
