hi

ive just bought a 2000 clio 172 (today!) that ill be picking up next week in silver. now, ive come home and dug out some magazine reviews, most of which talk about it having a standard fit cd changer, or single slot cd player. but when i drove it, i noticed the HU only had a tape deck, didnt notice any cd buttons, and the salesman said it didnt have a cd player (i didnt notice one in the boot either). now, why hasnt my car got one (or has it, and im just being stupid)?

Mine is a 2000 on an X reg & I m pretty sure I got a tape deck HU and a 6 disc under the drivers seat.

I think they replaced the tape with a single cd later on and then got rid of the 6 disc changer - if Im wrong Im sure someone will correct me.

Its been soo long since I first got the car - I replaced the standard stereo asap
