Why do Renault never have anything in stock when you need it!!

Today I pulled the front bumper off my 182 as the headlight washer jets are leaking. It appears that the washers themselves are knackard! So i phoned Renault to get some new ones and they dont have any in stock...Tuesday is the earlist they can get them in....................Great there is no point in putting the bumper back on so I wont be driving until then!!

Why do they never have anything in stock when I need it FU*KERS!!

They don't have a delivery on a Sunday night that is why. Had you ordered them on say Thursday they would be in again by Friday.

Yes thats right, the small bevelled edge ring that goes round the hub when changing bearings, f**king nightmare!

Renault dont deliver on Mondays, ive ordered quite a few parts this morning for customers and they will arrive on Tuesday morning

we dont keep those in either, you may see them as 'common' but their not, in 12 months ive never sold one to either trade or retail customers

When we ran Renault in HK we held almost 2 million quids worth of stock (being overseas), and you would be surprised how little that actually buys. Its impossible to stock for everything, and you only stock the fast moving stock. Especially in this economic condition, recieving items in 2 days is fantastic!

Im sorry but if parts departments dont sell soemthing for six months they wont keep that part in stock as its seen as a waste.

They are £12.04p each. Taking the bumper off is easy. If you get a garage to do it, it will set you back at least £50. Renault wanted £68. Bumper off in 15 mins!!

Don't take this the wrong way but if you were planning to fix the car over the weekend why not ring them up Thursday/ Friday and then they would of been able to get the parts in for Saturday morning.
As said why bother stocking parts that never get sold, if you think how many Renault cars are on the road both old and new it would be impossible to keep stock of every part for every renault vehicle.

Renault are normally good for parts ime.. though the price can range from reasonable to OMFG HOW MUCH?!?

Think the longest I had to wait was just over a week for some piston rings

Fu*king Renault.... So i call them this morning and my washer jets are in... I pick them up having ordered a pair one for the left and one for the right. Get them home and think great I can get the 182 back on the road. So put the right one on no problems doesn't leak so great that is fixed. Take the other one out of its packet and yes thats right the parts bloke has ordered me two right sided ones. God how hard is it to order a pair! So I ring him and he says "oh sorry didnt know they were different I will have to order you one for tomorrow". Brilliant!!!

Ive generally found Renault very good, if i want something i phone up for it if they need to order it they take payment and its usually in by dinner time the next day.
