Whynns engine supplement - yes or no?

Has anyone tried this for noisy hydraulic tappets / rockers? Not too keen on putting anything in my engine apart from oil, but I've heard this stuff can be quite good at quietening down tappets. Any advice?

wouldn't bother. Just do an oil change with quality 5w40- fully synth oil, and see if it makes a difference. If not Its probably your dephaser pulley as lifters on these engine aren't an issue

Used it on old cars and never done anything to help.

Used it on current car which was a light tapping which done nothing, Other than get louder which then turned out to be a dephaser failure.
