wider track? 182/172

  clio 172
tried the search function, didnt find wat i was after, but what is actually different parts wise from a 172.. 172 cup, 182, 182 cup etc etc

im a bit confused over all of it tbh! lol

  A3 2.0TFSI QUATTRO
Face lifts between shapes engine wise i think iys manifold and ecu map then the cup has different hub gaps with 'cup' suspension no ac cloth interiour non xenon headlights

  A3 2.0TFSI QUATTRO
Hubs have differnt spaceing for suspension turrents between ff and cups but i think wheel pcd and offset are the same

  clio 172
yes i know that lol, basically, iv a 172 full fat non cup.....

and i wnat better handling, so was wondering what my options were and what parts i would have to change as im uncertain on the differences on each model spec regards to suspension geometry/components on the front end

if you want to change to FULL cup setup it would cost you a fortune

the stock 172 wheels have a crap offset (ET48 from memory) go to ET37 or so and that'll help a fair amount, plus go for a 7x16 (or 15) with a 205 tyre

yer already had teh wheels of and yes agree there a shocking offset, even oldskewl bmw e30 et20 offset will go under :( thats

yer im still confused tho as i may be able to source certain parts, is a 182 same as 172

and a 182 cup same as 172 cup? and teh trophy? lol

  clio 172
omgggggggg lol. just be awkward damn renault, is there much difference in overall handling between the diff specs? lol

  Lionel Richie
not a massive amount really, to your average punter they all feel about the same (that'll upset the trophy boys! that car is the exception)
