wider track on cup suspension vs 172 sport

how does renault get the track wider on cup suspension the wheels and tyres seem to fill the arches better than my 172 is it possible to up grade ?

wider track comes from the alloys of the cup iirc

^^^^ 182_blue is right. 172 alloys are ET48.5 against the Cups 38.5 giving a 20mm wider track. The wheels also look much better in the arches as, as you say they fill them out more.

I have the original 172 Cup brochure, it seems to be the wheels.

I agree, Day. I felt how light those Oz Superleggaras are yesterday. What a difference to the other Oz wheels! I want them.

Superl's are very soft though. The Turinis are only marginally heavier but are much stronger.
