will 197 steering wheel fit my RS ph 2

as title says....the steering wheel is a wreck as everybody will know....will a 197 one fit ? airbag plug fate etc ????

thanks what I can make out of the thread is that it fits but NO function (e.g. cruise control and other things) will work. I cannot see that if the airbag fits or not. I mean the airbag connector.. I am ok if it would fit and the airbag can be connected

I know alot of people said no to this last year but someone may of figured it out by now....

Anyone done this yet ? cant see why functions wont work if splines are the same and it bolts on .
