Will a mk1 172 Zorst fit on a cup

Well, Magnex officially dont do an exhaust for the 172 Mk2/Cup, so their current exhaust must have been designed for the Mk1. Mine fits on my Mk2 just right. Its a twin round outlet but that shouldnt make any difference.

Can you get a part number for it Mat & Ill compare it to mine.

My K-tec twin 3" system will be available shortly.......got my car booked in at K-tec on the 22nd March to have the centre section and quieter back box fitted and David said he would probabley replace the whole system. Only done about 800 miles and it would fit a Cup no problem. Hes said hes selling it as a used item, but dont know how much.

Now, you know how good it sounds!!!.........but sadly not according to the wife

i fitted 1 to my mk2 but the fixings didnt align properly, it looked as though the exhaust is 2" too long as the bend where the centre pipe and backbox connect catches on the rear axle (banging over every bump) and the tailpipes are rubbing on the rear bumper, ive had it adjusted but its no better

Mat depends on the age of it. The original one would be too long (as said above) but they changed the design to have a telescopic middle section. If its one of those it should fit on fine.
