im unsure on this

You need to fit a resistor into the airbag connector, basically fooling the car into thinking the airbag is plugged in.

Thats pretty bad for clio owners, there are loads out there with the Airbag/Serv problem without a clue what to do, good for Renault garages i suppose.

IIRC Renault specialists who have ' clip ' can turn off the airbag light.

I am fitted a aftermarket wheel to my 172 tomorrow, and will bung some maplins resistors in.

RStuner above version 1.70 (i think it is) then buy the Airbag module, then you are able to de-activate airbags and pretentioners individually = no lights.

Resistor is far cheaper

and as for airbag and serve up permanently look in the guide section to remove that

the resisor should do the same job as the airbag in terms of what the ecu reads

Into the airbag plug.. Bridging the connections.

3.3 ohm do NOT work. Recently changed my wheel. Airbag/Serv light were on/off before this. Now permanently on even with the resistor fitted. Annoyeeeddd!

Thanks mate. A new Maplins has just turned up in my town so hopefully get a 3.9 there. :)

This is what the resistors should look like to stop the lights coming on mate
