will normal 172 coilovers fit on a 172 cup

just a quicky looking at getting coilovers for my car and i see 172 cup coilovers fit on a normal 172 but does it work the other way round? as i dnt wanna blow nearly 300 quid for them not to fit

yes. Its the 182 cup and trophy which are different.
