Be carefull with perishable parts like pipes and belts. Just cause its got low miles doesnt mean theyll be in good condition.

Known people to get cars with low low low miles and once they start getting used properly bits start to fail.

But any way - 37k - thats wicked for a Williams and with history like you say you got a good car.

I hope you intend keeping up this care that this cars had and youll have a classic on your hands.

Well done matey. Treat her well or ill send round the boys with hammers. Seriously, alot of the wear on Williams is more age related than milage related. Do the same check that you would if youd just bought a high milage Williams. Coolant / oil / suspension parts, just have a real good go over the car.

Are you going to use it everyday, or is it a second car?

I payed the full 6 K yes,got it from TMS motorsport TVR place in West Midlands, went to view it today and test drive, nearly broke my foot pushing the clutch down for the first time, god theyre hard,im used to the vauxhalls you know,it was the first time id ever drove a Renault in my life but it didnt take long to get used to at all,no rust at all and one 55 year old owner who apparantly spent more time polishing it than driving..hope to get pictures up when i get it home in 3 weeks,

Class - mine has a almost identical history - the owner was 60 and the car had only done 26k.

Ive had it a year and its been superb - just had its MOT and the tester said he hadnt seen a car that clean for its age before!

Just goes to show if they have been treated well there doesnt seem to be much that goes wrong (touch any wood that i can find).

Mind you compared to your Vaxhaull (I always had Fords) you will find anything you need from Renault pretty expensive to say the least.

We await the pics!

the car was sold with a gold HPi check and 12 months warranty so i spent more time test driving it than checking it out although i did look thoroughly at the bodywork,i will be using it as a second car or maybe third car depends whether i sell my Corsa GSi but im unsure about selling it as its had about £10,000 in mods and id only get £3K for itso id rather keep it than give it away plus it has only done 66,ooo miles,

Small world!

Where do you live then?
If you bought your last car from Hinckley and your new one from Melton Mowbray.

Mat.
