williams cobra alarm?

the cobra alarm on my car has stopped working, but the immobiliser is still activated, and i cant start my car, i have used the key under the bonnet to turn the system off, but still no joy! i have also changed the remote battery.

any ideas? i'm stranded!

lol ive been in your position witha sigma alarm, you prob are in a high signal area for the police airwaves radio system.. take the handbrake off andmove your car 200 metres away or around the corner.

its a recognised fault through out the alarm industry...shite eh. i had to scrap my alarm cos of it

If you turn the alarm off using the key, it immobilises the car anyway!

They aren't the best alarms.. try what Gunner said tho..

As for it going off on it's own.. that's normal for them too

well, its seems to have decided it will work now, for how long nobody knows, but at least i'm mobile again, will get it into the alarm shop asap, and get it sorted

got a local alarm/stereo shop that i have used in the past who are very good and pretty cheap, so i'll go to them, but cheers anyway mate
