williams rear screen heater

My rear screen heater has packed up but the dashboard indicator light for it is still coming on. Any ideas wot the problem is please?

Broken connector track on the window? If the light still lights then current is still getting to the back window and through to ground at some point. Check for breaks near where the plug is at the bottom of the window. Are there any bits of it that heat or has the whole thing packed up entirely

Cheers Nick, just removed trim, to have a look its still connected okay, and the whole thing has packed up
