Willy/16V Clocks

Right mine has seem to have stopped...

Thing is, when the car is running the clock aslo seem to work which is makin me think its not run by its own battery???

Can anyone share and light on this...if it runs from the car battery, why does it stop once the engine is off?

It is run off the car battery.

For it stop when the ignition is turned off it must have lost its permanent live feed, check the wires and plug behind it.
