willy locking wheel nuts

  transit connect

does any1 know if reno fitted these as standard as i think i lost my key when i was changing my brake pads.ifnot any ideas how much its costs roughly to get them drilled out?

I had a similar problem with my Williams.

If the key had four "spikes" on it, then it would have been a Renault dealer set of locking nuts. I managed to get a new key by finding the old bill from my history folder - and amazingly Renault had a key for about £3.

mate if you can sacrifice a socket, are these the ones with the loose outer sleeve? if so get a socket that is a touch too small and hammer it on and remove the bas*ard things

Should be in the service history book inside the front page.

If not, try bashing on a slightly smaller socket (long one). Willy wheels are very difficult to remove wheelnuts by force without damaging the wheels because the wheelnut wells are so deep.

I never fit locking wheel nuts - every set have just been hassle.
