window wipers

i noticed on the way back from FCS as the weather was bad that my wipers worked fine on the first 2 settings but on the 3rd ( fastest wipe ) they didn't work at all!!

surely it wouldn't b a fuse as all 3 settings would not work?? or am i wrong?? can anyone guide me in the right direction??
