Windscreen seals.

Can someone do me a favour and take a picture of the scuttle window seal so I can compare them to mine. I refitted mine the other day annd noticed it doesn’t seem to fit properly in the corners after having a new window and side/upper seals fitted.

Also it’s popped out at the top I assume I can just pop a bit of silicone in there to hold it down?

Scuttle panel trim sits on top from memory.

You might be able to just lift the corners over.

Cheers I tried that. But it seemed to leave quite a gap down the length of the seal. It’s almost like if I trim the corner off it’ll sit flush.

Haven't got a Clio to check anymore

The seals definitely look a lot chunkier than oem.

I do remember my old screen having two blobs of putty which may have held the scuttle down?

There's little clips underneath that you can bend to house the end parts

The end bits that attach to the top seal are clipped in fine, it’s just one is bulging like in your pic.

I am more bothered about the bottom though.

Compare 1st picture to 2nd. I bashed it in after taking the 2nd photo.

That's what I thought, like they don't look long enough or at least sat too high.

They need to extend down under the scuttle more.

Going to get a bit of double sided tape to get rid of the gap.

Yeah not sure why it's lifted up that much like that, bit of tape like you say will sort it.

There are, some white ones. I think I was missing an outer one and swapped one of the inner ones for it.

And it’s missing one too.

But as you can see it doesn’t clip near the corners.

Had a bit more of a play with this over the past few days.

Bought another scuttle panel and put some double sided tape to hold the passenger side down.

Mine are taped down with black electrical tape on the outside the edge clips do little on mine despite being there
