Wipers!!!!

Was driving home tonight, when my wipers decided to break! The drivers one came up and stopped half way, and then the passenger one hit it and got tangled up in it, and now they are bent, and dont work!!

Not exactly great at this time of year, and i need the car all day tommorow. Looks like a trip to the dealers in the morn to see if they will give me a courtesy car.

Has this happened to any1 else? Its an 05 182.

FIXED! Went straight to the dealer this morning, and there mechanic looked at it straight away and bent everything back into shape and tightened it all up. Great service, and very friendly staff, not like VW dealers!!!

Its kineholme garage in Otley I recommend them to anyone living localy or around the Leeds/Bradford Area.

Hmm havent seen that problem before, but glad a renault dealer was able to help you on your first visit!

This happened to my 182 as well..I think there are a few people on here who have had the same problem. Dealer tightened the wiper nuts and all was fine..

once the wiper arm is bent though it will never wipe the same again.....

if its perfect then your lucky, but i bent a wiper arm once slightly and the wipe wasnt as good, tried to get it back but it was never perfect again

It all seems ok at the moment. I must admit it was fair bent, but they did it to get me back on the road today as I needed the car, and said to pop back if theres a problem. Im very pleased with there level of customer care though.
