Rent boy homo ^^^ is correct, its one bit of wireing on a car I wouldnt mess about with.Quote: Originally posted by Loony on 03 October 2004
and dont repair them yourself the cables are a set resistance thats how the system checks itself and brings the light up too little or too much resistance and youll have issues of one type or another, take it to renault Dai.
That is what I was thinking they could do. They are in better shape than they were an hour ago as I didnt want to risk shorting the wires.Quote: Originally posted by Pete_172 on 03 October 2004
Theyd probably need to plug in diagnostics laptop to see if there are any errors on the system.
I agree it is definitely not something I want to say "thatll do" and that is that.Quote: Originally posted by Loony on 03 October 2004
they should be able to i expect they have a tolerance for the level or resistance in the circuit so should be able to put a meter on it and see, but i would expect them to suggest that the cables be replaced, after all its not something that you want a "itll do" attitude to plus in terms of liability it will land firmly on their doorstep if there is an accident and someone is injured as a result of the airbags not triggering or a false trigger whilst driving
Expensive!Quote: Originally posted by JAMESSRICH on 03 October 2004
