Wires under MKII 172 seat - HELP........

Ah right, so you are the man in the know then. Do you reckon it is the airbag or pretensioner then ? And shall I just take it to Renault, they should be able to sort it out yeah ?

If they want to repair it, how much would I be looking at ?

without going out to my car and comparing and tracing where the wires head off to i cant say if its airbag or pretentioner thats been damaged but as the pretentioner is attatched to the seat base im pretty sure the harness comes out from below the carpet and this plug joins the seat harness to the car harness and is responsible for both pretentioner and side airbag. either way i would get it to a dealer asap

thats the pret wiring but i noticed the mutts had ago at the air bag too but not snapped the wiring - they might want to re do the repair - they might charge their hourly rate!

All of the damaged wires have been soldered but I will get it to my Renault dealer ASAP and see what they say !

I am just waiting for something else to go wrong ! The list of things to get done under warranty is growing ! Just waiting for the wheels to fall off !

It has been booked in to Renault for next Wednesday to have a number of things done to it. All minor and normal Renault ownership but they need to be done and they are pissing me off !

By next week, the car will be looking a little different !
