wiring questions ph1/ph2 ecu similarites

what i basically want to do,, is convert my ph2,, to ph1 management.

BUT i want to keep everything functioning as it did before, so obviously im going to have to modify the ph2 engine loom to make everything match up (not a problem as i have a complete ph1 donor car)

now what im wondering, is would it be possible to literally just plug the ph1 engine ecu in to the existing loom then just modify the few pins required for things like the tps and etc??

anyone got pinout data for both?

There is so much work converting a PH2 loom to PH1 that you won't want to do it. You'll also need to swap stuff around on the big white connector from ECU to chassis loom. The security stuff is different in the PH2, so you'll have work there, plus there's no CAN on the PH1 ECU. Do you have a speedo output on your gearbox?

I think you'll need to work out what you want functioning and start from there.

Why do you want to do this?

At a guess ITBs on standard management, this however is going to be a PITA to get working on your car.
