Wishbone paint and rear brakes

Ive just welded the races for my black series bushes into my new wishbones, anybody any reccomendations for what to paint over the welds?

Also my rear brakes dont seem to be working, they clear the rust after hard braking but the discs dont heat up! Any ideas?

There's no need to weld them, there a interference fit just like the original bushes.

They are welded now, but ive seen a few stories of them working their way out so dont want to be taking any chances
