Yesterday my 1.2 dynamic wouldnt start no starter motor noise just a ticking coming from an orange coloured relay (LH side engine compartment) Wouldnt jump start and wouldnt bump start. Pushed it up the road a bit and called tha AA.
AA man spent ages and came to the conclusion it was a bad earth from the engine block. He used is battery booster thingk ctraeted a temporary earth and wizzo it started. It wouldnt start again under its own steam still bad earth, so he said get some earth leads and re earth the engine block direct to the battery and from engine block to bodywork. I did this and now the engine turns over but wont start. I t will turn over about 8 times then stops but no sign of starting. Can anyone please help?
