Renault Clio 1.2 16v
hi all, just a bog standard 1.2 clio love her to bits but on 10th january this year someone decided it would be fun to drive down the side of me 
causing my insurance company to write her off, but thought damage isnt that bad which i was right. so baught her back off the salvagers cos she only has 68k on the clock.
what was damaged was visual scratches from front to rear, broken mirror. broken wing. insurers deemed it a Cat C write off so have to get VIC checked :dapprove:.
not had that much experience in mechanics since i finished college back in 2005, never had any in bodywork but thought i love the little cow too much to just let her get rammed by a crusher, so got bits off ebay and after a hell of alot of fiddling i managed to replace the wing, didnt have much tools on me just a ratchet set but managed thanks to good olde ebay.

after 5 months of just sitting there i managed to save some money to replace her front discs and pads and also her alternator. just waiting for them to come through the post next week along with more tools
my main concern about her is i noticed last week that i had a friend of the family do a service on her last november as i didnt have the tools at the time and ive just noticed that he hadn't put my air filter in right and hes also cross threaded one of my spark plugs and looks like a bit of a leek round it. i dont wanna take it out just yet just in case its fudged up the hole on the head otherwise that might set me back a bit, if its not too bad then im looking at doing simple mods at first like LED blubs etc and move along to interier seats etc and defently wanna get a induction kit any reccommendations for anything which would make my baby sound amazing and look amazing would be fantastic.
