Would a Phase 2 172 Steering wheel fit a Phase 1 172?

I've just recently bought a Phase I 172 and its great. The only downside is that the steering wheel is need of replacement and am wanting to replace it with a new shape one.

Is this possible?

the new ones do fall apart easily though btw, the phase1s dont generally wear that bad

I can understand your point there however the current phase I steering wheel is horrible and prefer the new shape...so essentially it fits?

Pretty sure the airbag fitting is different so you would lose that if it has the same mount

the psh2 wheel is like a bus wheel!

there are few psh1 full leather wheels knocking about (off the exclusives, not the cheap w**k leather on the normal psh1)

i ave got a ph2 on my ph1 it does fit but like Dcds4 said the air bag light comes on something to do with the ph1 airbag having 1 ignition and ph2 having 2
