Would anyonegive me a bit of advise OMEX600 series wiring

  Volvo S60 T5
Fitted Throttle bodies and cams to my car today all I have to do is fit the OMEX 600 ecu (already mapped), so what I'm after is the wiring layout from omex to 172 ecu.
Probably be able to work it out myself but wana get this thing running and really looking forward to it as well:evil:

Any help via e-mail or pm.

E-mail to rentech.ltd@gmail.com

Thanks

its just the way it was fitted on the car it came from, I'm not a tuner just service repair so this sort of thing is all new to me.
I have the Omex diagrams from the hardware manual and it looks really simple to do, will defo use the original loom and have the pinouts for the standard ecu.
Ile be going in later today to do it all.
Ive managed toi retain the air con with a few slight modifications, getting a new AC pipe made up next week to allow longer trumpets.

So its wont hurt to ditch the standard ecu then?

Well with this type of standalone ecu, you typically discard the OE item, and replace it solely with the new one.

What i tend to do is take the original loom, strip all the sheathing etc of it, and remove the actual control wiring (i.e. all the wires connected to the ecu multiplug)...this then leaves the charging and starting circuits, and the sensor wiring for the dash display. The i make a control loom for the new ecu using the existing plues/sensors. Then simply combine the two looms, wrap nicely ect, to give one complete loom.

all wired up, but have no spark.
The ecu is live and sensors have the feed they requie from omex.
think i need to get the datalink cable and software so I can see whats missing.
Ile get some pics up later of work so far. time to go home now anyway :)

You really need the software etc to access the ecu and make sure all the settings are correct.

e.g. the cps could be reading the wrong trigger pattern.

Was it taken from a running 172? if so the settings should be ok.

check the basics i gues...until u can access the ecu.
