Would This Make A Good Trackday Camera?

Car  Up rocks
Not sure if this belongs in 'Media' or not but hey...

At a quick glance it looks like a kids toy, but it looks to be quite good. Possibly ideal for trackdays and general messing about with cars or whatever.

Capable of 30 frames/sec

I did see a 'low light' test video too which i cant find now but it shows it works great in clubs and gigs etc.

Easy to use too: http://www.firebox.com/video/1619

Only let down is the lack of memory card slot. What do you think?

Alot of money with no expandable memory. 60mins and thats it till u get near a laptop or pc.

I use a Go-pro Digital Hero3. Has a SD card slot so will record 56mins ish to a 2gb card. Perfect for what i want to use it for, not great in low light tho.

Vids and pics look like this.

Track day

Snowboarding

Autotest

That looks quite good although i'm liking the idea of how small the Flip is so it would be perfect for me to take out to raves etc. And at 100grams + battery i could strap it to my RC combat wings. I dont think the 2GB wouyld bother me too much as if i was planning on filming alot during a day i'd take my laptop too. I dunno, tough one.

lol my laptop would be in the hotel, usually near the rave. But i dont think id record more than 60mins at a rave anyway tbh.
