there is a 172 by me for sale in silver it has 57k on the clock (51 reg)

the rear bumper has 2 bumps in it also there are a few scratches here and there also the mirrors are marked so would maybe need a repaint - also the steering wheel grips have split its advertised at 6k

Definately. At that age and mileage and with those faults then it should definately be cheaper than that. My 02 reg with 32k miles only cost £6200 back in February this year.

£5k sounds fair for the mileage and condition so I'd definately only offer them around that amount.
