Xbox controller problem

Tried to have a quick couple of games last night and the controller wouldnt sync, or even switch the xbox on!! When i try and sync the controller/console it does the usual and the lights spin round on both but nothing happens, apart from all four lights on the controller flash. Any ideas fellow gamers????

Is this trying with the USB cable connecting the two? Had it connected to another Xbox recently?

Usb connecting the two? Excuse my stupidity. Oh and no it hasnt been used with another xbox. Cheers for your help

Have you got a Plug n Play charge kit for it?

Plug that in and plug it in the Xbox & the controller to see if it will connect up itself.

Tried that mate, doesnt work either. Red light comes on to say its charging but nothing else happens. Goosed controller possibly?

Not that anyone is intereted lol but the problem was the controller. Must resist seeing how far i can throw them its costing me a fortune
