Most CDs that you get with hardware are just full of crap - usually old drivers, apps and crap games.
In a 7900GTX box that arrived this week, I thought I'd have a quick mooch on the CDs and see what was there. Clicked on the demo games bit and one was called Armored Fist 3.
Being a bit of a geek for the military sims, I thought I'd try it out, but I could have sworn I had already heard of it.
Sure enough, the maximum resolution in game was 640x480 - so low that my TFT screen was struggling like mad to display it. Only when I quit out of it did I see a copyright symbol next to the year AF3 was published ........ 1999!
What on earth were XFX thinking of when they put an 8-year-old demo game in the box with a 7900GTX? Especially when they include GRAW for free anyway?
Weird. :S
