Hi there, as a few more of my mates have now bought clios (everyones just decided its the car for them) i have been told things like "yeah its the 1.2 sport" and one friend professes to have a 1.4 sport.

now could this actually be true, im sure there would be no extra bhp but thought maybe there may be a different grille/spoiler or something like that..


or alternitavely some chav has put on a special bage that adds 400 bhp cos its now a sport!

Yes it is True you can get 1.2 sports - called ClioSports!!!! 172/182/197 are Renault Sports

There are 'sport' versions of cars, and there are 'Renaultsport' versions of Clios. Huge difference.

Clio Sport = Any clio with 'sport' level of trim ie same bhp as normal models
Renault Sport Clio = 2.0 litre 170bhp beasts.

Well you can still take the piss as the Sport badge isnt standard i.e. theyve stuck it on themselves
