Yeti wash mitt

  GTD, Lupo
Ordered one when i was away and decided to give my car a clean this morning with it. Very disappointed to be honest. Not so much yeti fist more cats paw. The mitt itself is very hard and i struggled to clean some of the hard to reach areas.

Not sure if i just have a bad one but the mitt is very thin and i think i will be going back to my £6 one from halfords.

On another note gave my wheels a clean with my new Ez wheel brush and its really good.

I prefered the wookie tbh. Cumbersome yes but it makes short work of cars. The yeti just seemed like a let downl

What kind of bucket are you using? A coke can?

Hardly drains bucket, dip, remove some of the liquid if its that bad. I find myself dipping far more with smaller mitts than I do with the wookie.

It does drain the bucket, big time as most users have said.

I prefer a wash mitt, more control over it imo.

Ive gone back to a halfrauds mitt for a while as my wookie has rotted and im shocked at how small it is.

I brought a Yeti mitt last year... VERY disappointed, it soaks up 2/3's of a bucket and doesn't even wipe the dirt off the car very well :(

That's a good thing fella...

yeah youre right. I dont take care of my car properly though. 1BM and all that.

Ive had the megs before and they rot pretty quickly I find. Nice mitts though. The sonus was the worst. Halfords is the longest lasting one ive used ever.

Want to try the Eurow. JD what do you think of the eurow. s**t I might start using a Zymol Sponge.

Good to see im not the only one then. The only thing i find with the Halford/megs/Sonus mitts is that they start to fall apart after a while.

Oh well lesson learnt.

The Eurow one is the only one I use these days, I refuse to change, it must have seen 30 odds washes and i'm yet to see any hair fail out of it. Can't be that bad.

Good lad, I like your style.

I was reading through your winter protection detail on DW and saw your inner wheel brush, what was it exactly? Ive broken my second EZ brush now and im sick of the flimzy design. Is there soemthing more substantial?

You know what's funny I tried my mates EZ one and didn't like it so I bought a megs replica one ages ago off autobrite, it's a megs one without the megs packaging, crazy!

It's superb, I also have a long reach Vikan one now, my wheels are quite deep. And I got a SV wheel brush to go with my detail one.

Did you leave a comment dude?

No I dont really comment on DW tbh. Im still waiting for the Swissvax brush to come back in stock. I have a short Vikan for the faces but need a longer thinner bruch like the megs to get in at the backs. Cheers.

Very good, but they all start to fall apart after a while if you don't rinse them thoroughly and dry them after use. They basically eat through the glue that attaches the rubbery pouch to the hair. Fancy trying the Easirider one next...

I have the Wookie & just sold my Yeti's fist before giving it a go. I find them just too big & heavy. I have now converted to these, so much better & much more control :)

You liking that one then Dawn? I had looked at it but presumed it would have the same issues as the Wookie etc.

Ive found the NFWI Mit.................. (Not f*cking wasing it Mit) the best, doesnt even need water and doesnt leave any swirls at all, brillaint bit of kit.

Oh hi, not to busy to talk to us today eh!

Pipe!

I've found a similar product, probably from the same brand. It's called HORCDABJTASBIEBTI (Halfrauds own rattle cans do a better job than any spray booth I've ever been to innit)
