I got the FP magazine on the way in, thought that was quite a nice touch actually
Wait. There were free flumps.....?
Who was the pretty young lady in the high vis jacket and Renault cap?
Drives the inferno with the darkened number plates.
I didn't catch your name.
I did come in the tent to buy a couple of green stickers and pointed at the orange one But i did not see any flumps!!!
Same here, I wasn't expecting anything so it was a welcome surpise.
I thought I saw you walk into the tent with some others but wasn't sure if it was you, so I didn't say hello.
I think we all need name badges! lol!
Name badges would be good for next year
I think mine might say 'No.... I'm not Brian'
I can vouch for you coming back to buy that white sticker though!
cs definately needs its own BBQ so we can all sit down and have a natter together.
i have no problem sitting down with admin and the clique in the tent but some are a scared and we are lacking space to do so.
this might be something to look into next year.
I think the biggest change to the CS side of things would be to create a better "communal area" I know we have the tent, but for a 180+ members, its not that large. It'd be nice to have a CS BBQ, but as previously said I doubt it'll be allowed. Just somewhere to sit/stand and actually chat to other members etc.
I felt like I could see a load of cars that I recognised, but couldn't speak to any of the owners, because I didn't know where they were etc. Sort of like I went with the club, but really only went with Mike and Tunst.
I didnt see many people I knew tbh, most people park up then bugger off so its difficult to catch people and say Hi.
This seems like a common theme, and something I'd agree with. Obviously we all had a busy day as admin, but I hardly got to speak to any of the members other than those that visited the tent and buy merchandise.
BBQ is almost certainly a no-go due to health & safety issues, as well as conflicting with the caterers who pay serious money to be there, but I'll discuss with the team to see what we can do to provide an incentive for people to gather on the stand a bit more at future shows.
A mass pm with a shortcut to the dash-passes wouldn't have gone a miss or am I the only one who doesn't read every thread.........
That was me John! Was strange to walk in the CS tent and known by your lot from 3 years ago in the time of BBQ's, sorry buddy i cant remember you name.
I think the BBQ would be a good Idea.

the smoke gave you away thoi think donny and mandy had a bbq a few years back for the west mids lot and the organisers told them they wernt allowed to. me and ady172uk had us a ghetto bbq hidden behind our cars round the corner away from prying eyes lol.
VIP Aea? Where?
Brian, I was in the CS tent several times, just didn't realise they were free.
(I'm the tall chap, dark hair, lairy trainers, skinny jeans and a hangover) lol!
Mark told me people were allowed to have their own BBQs.
Was with 206info last year and had a big one, they did again this year.
thats why ad kept reving his engine. it was to make it look like exhuast fumes :quiet:the smoke gave you away tho
Who won what awards for the club (was mentioned in the display pass thread) and what did they win?
we did the same mate. went in, grabed a few pens and calenders. few sweets and never went back in there. oh yeah, we also set the jenga up so it didnt matter which one was moved, they would all fall down.Did anyone venture into the 'VIP' area? I walked in and out in about 30 seconds as it was shocking!
I didn't advertise the free flumps just in casr I ate them all on my way up, and it acts as a reward to the people that made the effort to visit the cs marquee
