Youtube capture / download

There's a series I want to watch which was on Discovery HD and i've noticed the discovery channel have it on youtube.

I know there's apps for capturing / downloading from youtube but wondered which if any were recommended?

Had a look for torrents but no joy, even tried to buy it on dvd but not available.

The series is called twist the throttle and is about motorcycle manufacture and features some of the big factories e.g. suzuki, Triumph, Ducati etc.

as far as I remember the convertor adds their logo to the top, you can pay to register to remove this

Can or how do you download the MP3 or MP4 from the video? ( i need some gunshot effects for a job i'm doing )
